HarpLight is a quarterly journal dedicated to small harps. The mission of HarpLight is to provide a quality publication reflecting the unique interests and meeting the needs of small harp players and others, such as harp builders, retailers, music publishers, etc. Paid advertising is limited to a maximum of 30% of space.

Each issue of HarpLight provides articles and information, as well as music especially for the small harp.

The editorial content includes interviews with harpers and builders; personal stories about harps and harping; perspectives on the small harp in history and in various cultures; how-to articles about playing technique, arranging, and transposing especially for the small harp; tips about buying and maintaining (and even building) a harp; and related topics.

Regular features include reviews of new music books and products; a rundown of what's new in the world of small harp models, publications, and accessories; and a list of web sites of interest to small harp players.

The music in HarpLight aims to be a balance of original compositions and arrangements, for a spectrum of playing levels. Where possible, pieces for beginner-level players include fingerings and explanations of technique. Each issue of HarpLight contains at least three pieces of music.
